BTA Wins National Award

The Butler Transit Authority (BTA) is pleased to announce it is the recipient of a 2007 National AdWheel Award. The 28th annual AdWheel Awards competition is sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). Each year, the AdWheel Awards honor the best in public transportation marketing and communication from APTA members across the country.

BTA won first place in the print media category for a direct mailer targeted at increasing awareness for the free PA transit pass available to individuals 65 years and older. BTA is in the running for the Grand Award which will be announced at APTA's annual meeting in October.
