43rd Annual Spirit of Christmas Parade!

Come check out the Butler Transit Authority buses in this year's Spirit of Christmas parade. This year the Butler Transit Authority will have not only its Santa Bus in the parade, but its new trolley bus as well.

Santa adorns one of the Transit Authority's 35 foot Gillig buses. Santa consists of 17 yards fabric, 12 yards of velcro, and piles of stuffing. Santa is driven by BTA transit operator Barb Stewart.

BTA's classic red trolley arrived in Butler late this summer. It is a 30 foot Gillig bus that was converted to resemble a classic red trolley by the California based company, Cable Car Classics. The trolley is decked out in over 60 feet of garland and bows. It is driven by BTA transit operator Cathy Wright.
