BTA Ridership Continuing to Climb

The Butler Transit Authority (BTA) finished out its second quarter of fiscal year 2007-2008 with another increase in ridership. Bus Ridership has increased over 16% from last year's second quarter, with almost 52,000 passengers utilizing Butler's public transportation system, the bus.
BTA's bus ridership has been on a steady incline for the last four quarters. Ridership for the first two quarters of 2007-2008 has grown over 15.5% from the first two quarters of 2006-2007. The Butler Transit Authority has provided over 102,000 passenger trips in the first 6 months of 2007-2008.
BTA is proud to offer transportation options to the Butler community and looks forward to continued growth in 2008.
