Butler Included on PennDot's "Wish List"

According to the State Department of Transportation, the Butler Transit Authority (BTA) is a contender on PennDot's "wish list" of projects funded by a possible national stimulus plan. Under the stimulus plan, Penndot may use the funds for roads, bridges and transit.

If the stimulus package is approved by Congress, which may happen as early as February, the Butler Transit Authority may receive up to seven million dollars for its intermodal transit center project in the Pullman Center redevelopment.
