FREEDOM FARES

The Butler Transit Authority is pleased to announce two promotions for the upcoming summer months. In celebration of the summer holidays, the Authority will be offering Freedom Fares, reduced fares every Friday after Memorial Day and through Labor Day. The regular, one trip fare will be reduced from one dollar to 25 cents on the following days: June 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th, July 1st, 8th,15th, 22nd, & 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th, and September 2nd.  

STUDENT SUMMER DISCOUNT PASS

For students, the Transit Authority will again be offering the discounted student summer pass. BTA can take youth to Alameda Park, where they can engage in summertime activities such as swimming, ball games, volleyball, etc. For rainy days the bus can take students to various shopping centers around town, downtown and the Clearview Mall. The Transit Authority can also take you to that summer job. The summer discount pass is only $20 and is valid from June through the end of August. Passes can be purchased by showing a recent report card at the bus terminal at 113 East Cunningham Street in Butler.
