New Transit Center Design Wins Diamond Award

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania recently announced that the Butler Transit Authority’s new transit center has been selected to receive a 2011 Diamond Award Certificate for the design of the facility. The transit center was designed by the architectural firm, Camp Dresser and McKee Inc. (CDM) of Pittsburgh.
A special banquet was held on February 3rd in Hershey, PA to present certificates to CDM and the Butler Transit Authority in recognition of the excellence demonstrated in the building design.
The new transit center’s construction was completed in December 2010. A public open house will be held in May 2011.
