The Butler Transit Authority has announced that the Route 1 commuter bus service to Pittsburgh will no longer service Twelve Oaks and Route 228.
Beginning Monday, February 5th, Route 1 will operate the same stops as Route 2. Route 1 will travel Route 8 all the way to Route 28 to Pittsburgh. Both routes will also honor flag stops along Route 8.
In addition, both routes will make a stop first at the David Lawrence Convention Center then at the Allegheny T-Station in the morning runs. In the afternoon runs, the routes will stop first at the Allegheny T-Station then make their final Pittsburgh stop at the David Lawrence Convention Center.
New schedules can be found by clicking the link below, in the downtown bus terminal and on the buses.
The Authority would like to thank the passengers for their patience and feedback as BTA works to continue improving the service.
